Set in the heart of the city, Fugazzi is Adelaide’s premier bar and dining experience. Designed by Studio Gram, this masterpiece is the perfect homage to old school New York, Italian style dining with a contemporary flair. Featured in this space is Rosso Levanto Marble, Calacatta Viola Marbleand Nero Marquina Marble. Creating a stunning focal-point throughout the restaurant and bar, these natural stones add an unmatched depth and texture to this space.
As part of our Designer Collaboration Series, CDK Stone’s Stone Director Tony Victor took a deeper look into this breath-taking property and interviewed Graham Charbonneau and Olivier Martin of Studio Gram. Being the leads on this project, Graham and Olivier were able to talk through his design decisions and how this project came together.

Setting the mood as soon as you walk in, Rosso Levanto Marble is featured extensively through the bar and surrounding bar seating areas. Adding a rich texture and deep, red wine colour to this space, Rosso Levanto effortlessly ties together the other elements to create a truly sophisticate aura. Designed to involve patrons in the drink making process, this Rosso Levanto bar is the perfect backdrop for a pre dining drink.
Adding a balance to this space, the bar splashback and dining room picture trim features Nero Marquina Marble. Defined by its deep black backdrop with a delicate stark white veining, Nero Marquina produces a timeless monochromatic décor which instils this space’s tribute to old style dining.
WATCH THE FULL VIDEOFlowing through the bar and into the dining area, this space highlights the beauty of Calacatta Viola Marble. Featured as wall cladding on the dining room entryways and as tables on the booths, banquets and dining tables, Calacatta Viola adds a luxurious aura to this design.
With rich burgundy hues and a stark veining pattern, Calacatta Viola is a timeless Italian marble with a chic flair. Creating a statement within the dining space, Calacatta Viola ties together all the other elements whilst upholding the sophisticated dining aura.
