Located in the lively heart of Byron Bay, Jardan stands as a beacon of exceptional furniture design. In collaboration with the practice principal and lead architect Iva Foschia of IF Architecture, Jardan’s latest showroom has been thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of the Australian lifestyle. For over a decade, IF Architecture has partnered with Jardan, shaping each of its nationwide showrooms with a distinct theme that reflects local culture. From the classic elegance of Melbourne’s iconic homes to the renowned Australian families of Sydney, and the stunning wildflower blooms along Perth’s desert highways, each space tells its own story. In this newest venture, Jardan and Iva have drawn inspiration from Byron’s spiritual essence, creating an interior that resonates with the area’s unique energy through meticulously chosen elements and Natural Stone features.

In our Designer Collaboration Series, we had the extraordinary opportunity to sit down with Iva Foschia from IF Architecture to explore the enthralling journey of crafting this unparalleled showroom. With a deep-rooted partnership spanning years, Iva Foschia has been instrumental in shaping a space where visitors can not only marvel at Jardan’s exquisite furniture but also connect with the compelling narratives woven into each piece.

As you step into the showroom, your senses are immediately charmed by exquisite furniture, a palette bursting with bold colours, and stones that are beyond compare. Taking centre stage, the Patagonia Quartzite graces the main display and key functional space, as well an additional furniture display and staff working area, asserting itself as the hero of the space. Each slab of this magnificent Natural Stone is an artwork in its own right, with unique veining that infuses the room with a profound, earthy ambiance. Seamlessly aligning with the showroom’s theme, this stone embodies the quintessential Australian lifestyle; establishing a presence in Byron was akin to a spiritual homecoming for the brand. The Patagonia Quartzite, with its creamy textures reminiscent of coastal sands, channels the serene spirituality of Byron’s beaches right into the heart of the showroom. It harmonises beautifully with other natural elements like light timber cabinetry, earthy tiles, and brass accents, crafting a space that is unmistakably Australian and supremely elegant.

The presentation of Patagonia Quartzite within the space is as vital as its inclusion. Each slab has been artistically crafted to reveal its true beauty, forming exquisite shapes and structures. This project boasts captivating draw faces, beautifully mitred edges, and stunning intricate details, crafting an entrance desk that truly wows every visitor. The careful attention to detail mirrors the exceptional craftsmanship found in Jardan furniture. The space’s remarkable features are further emphasised by towering voids adorned with hand-painted mother of pearl, infusing the interior with dynamic movement, warmth, and texture. Together, these elements pleasantly create a thoughtfully designed showroom that celebrates the allure of Patagonia Quartzite and the sophistication of Jardan furniture.

Iva Foschia of IF Architecture has masterfully designed a luxurious and sophisticated environment that enchants every customer. The dramatic presence of Patagonia Quartzite from CDK Stone in each of three key zones of the Jardan showroom commands attention, while a melodious blend of natural elements creates a bewitching and breathtaking furniture showroom.

With an eye for detail and a flair for innovation, Iva Foschia of IF Architecture has collaborated seamlessly with Jardan to breathe life into their showroom’s latest theme. This extraordinary space is born from the fusion of Iva’s unparalleled expertise and boundless creativity with Jardan’s artistic furniture, resulting in a truly memorable experience.
