Darren and his partner discovered this hidden gem nine years ago, and since then, they’ve poured their passion into transforming it into a true sanctuary. Just 400 meters from the iconic Bondi Beach, this home is surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the suburb, and yet this spot offers a sense of serenity and calmness. This space embraces the notion, minimalism meets function, and no space is a better example than the kitchen. The focal point is the stunning Monreale Marble benchtop, which draws the eye and sets the tone for the entire space. With timber-clad cabinetry, elegant brass fixtures, and beach-inspired timber stools, the kitchen brings the coastal vibe indoors. Beyond its beauty, the kitchen is a marvel of practicality, featuring a built-in fridge, carefully selected appliances, a cooktop with an integrated downdraft, and an abundance of storage. Darren’s favourite feature of his home is the availability of natural light that flows throughout the rooms. Bathed in natural light, the elements of the home shine in this setting, especially the accents of Monreale Marble located in the lounge room and the study area. These additional pops of stone make for a very cohesive design that embraces the neutrality of the Marble’s base, whilst incorporating the blush pinks and earthy browns throughout the home.
