How To Seal & Maintain Your Marble

Before treating used surfaces, the stone must be thoroughly cleaned. All dirt deposits and care product residues must be removed from the surface and from the pores.

1. Dilute Lithofin MN Power-Clean up to 1:10 with water. (minimum 1:4)
2. Wipe surface with solution and repeat after 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Rinse well with clear water to remove all product and dirt residues. 
4. Do not use acidic, corrosive or abrasive cleaners. 
5. Soak any cement residues with undiluted product and remove them with a white nylon pad.
6. All the surface to dry for at lease 24 hours or until completely dry. 

Impregnators such as Lithofin MN Stain-Stop render the surface water and oil repellent.
This protective effect reduces staining and facilitates every-day maintenance, whilst providing optimal protection.

1. The marble must be clean, dry and within a 10 – 25 degree Celsius environment. 
2. Pour product in a basin or bucket.
3. Evenly apply with a lamb’s wool applicator. Repeat after 10 minutes. 
4.  Remove all excess product with a squeegee and a clean dry towel.
5. Allow to dry and do not touch the surface for 45 minutes. 
6. Protect the marble against water and do not cover for 24 hours.
7. We recommend touching up the protective treatment after 4 to 5 years.

For ongoing maintenance, use Lithofin MN Easy-Care for regular cleaning.

1. Add one squirt (20 ml) to one bucket of water.
2. Wipe surface with solution and a micro fibre mop. Do not rinse.
3. Allow to dry. Do not touch the surface for 15 minutes.
