This project, led by visionary founder Lucy Glade-Wright and her partner Jonno Rodd, resulted in a truly unique kitchen that marries the charm of a rustic retreat with the elegance of contemporary design and trending hues. The kitchen’s benchtops, graced with Mirage Lake Quartzite, feature striking blues and greens that work with a variety of materials and finishes, crafting a space that feels invitingly lived-in rather than a pristine, ultra-modern kitchen. After more than a year of dedicated effort, this transformation beautifully illustrates how even the most overlooked areas can be revitalised into stunning, captivating spaces.

Our vibrant and richly textured Natural Stones have transformed a variety of spaces in ways that leave us spellbound. One project that truly brought us to awe was Darren Palmer’s Bondi Beach Home. Nestled just steps from Bondi Beach, this peaceful haven captures the essence of coastal minimalism, making it impossible to look away. The stunning Monreale Marble graces the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, and study, creating a simple sanctuary that radiates tranquillity. We are thrilled to honour this exceptional project as CDK Stone’s Project of the Year 2024.
