IF Architecture, Jardan – Designer Collaboration Series

Located in the lively heart of Byron Bay, Jardan stands as a beacon of exceptional furniture design. In collaboration with the practice principal and lead architect Iva Foschia of IF Architecture, Jardan’s latest showroom has been thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of the Australian lifestyle. For over a decade, IF Architecture has partnered with Jardan, shaping each of its nationwide showrooms with a distinct theme that reflects local culture. From the classic elegance of Melbourne’s iconic homes to the renowned Australian families of Sydney, and the stunning wildflower blooms along Perth’s desert highways, each space tells its own story. In this newest venture, Jardan and Iva have drawn inspiration from Byron’s spiritual essence, creating an interior that resonates with the area’s unique energy through meticulously chosen elements and Natural Stone features.

In our Designer Collaboration Series, we had the extraordinary opportunity to sit down with Iva Foschia from IF Architecture to explore the enthralling journey of crafting this unparalleled showroom. With a deep-rooted partnership spanning years, Iva Foschia has been instrumental in shaping a space where visitors can not only marvel at Jardan’s exquisite furniture but also connect with the compelling narratives woven into each piece.

Studio Joan, Pearl Beach – Designer Collaboration Series

Nestled in the idyllic and secluded Pearl Beach, this stunning holiday retreat seamlessly blends the coastal elements within the interior spaces. Renowned designer Tegan Klusenberg, from Studio Joan, spearheaded this project, working closely with the clients to ensure the home not only met the functional needs of their growing family but also boasted a timeless and layered décor. Featuring a stunning array of Natural Stones such as Capanna Marble on the kitchen splashbacks, benchtops and TV unit, Monreale Marble in the home bar, main ensuite and powder room, and Breccia Pernice Marble in the other powder room, this luxurious getaway exudes elegance and opulence. The varied textures and colours of these exquisite stones come together harmoniously, creating a space that is both beautiful and inviting for the entire family to enjoy.

In our Designer Collaboration Series, we had the honour of delving into Tegan Klusenberg’s creative process as she crafted this exquisite home, carefully considering the client’s desires and introducing them to innovative interior concepts. Through her design journey and close collaboration with the homeowners, Tegan Klusenberg brought their vision to life, ensuring that the home evolves gracefully with them over the years.

Penman Brown, The Carlisle – Designer Collaboration Series

Perched along the sun-soaked and picturesque Tamarama coast, this charming yet modern four-story residence seamlessly blends elements of the serene beach and lush greenery into its interiors. The visionary behind this project is Megan Brown, the founder and creative director of Penman Brown, this dream home was meticulously crafted to meet the client’s desires and has earned a spot as a finalist for the Residential Design Award at the Australian Interior Design Awards. Featuring a stunning array of Natural Stones carefully chosen to create a cohesive and harmonious material palette, this home showcases Palazzo Dolomite on the kitchen surfaces, Silver Travertine on the entertainment unit, Ocean Marine Quartzite at the bar, and hints of Monreale Marble on both indoor and outdoor coffee tables. These exquisite stones come together to form a beautiful blend of nostalgia and modernity, perfectly complementing the futuristic design elements of the space.

Bec Douros – Designer Collaboration Series

Nestled in the homely suburb of Williamstown, sits the loving family home of Bec Douros that caters to the needs of her and her partner’s busy lifestyles whilst entertaining her bubbly and energetic children. Leading the design process was Bec Douros, creative director from Nectaar, who meticulously planned, designed, and built her forever home from the ground up to not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also incredibly functional as well. Featured throughout the home are Arabescato Vagli Marble and Cote D’Azur Marble, with them making appearances in the kitchen, butler’s pantry, living room, and playroom, this mesmerising design truly sets the home apart, creating an enchanting and unparalleled atmosphere. The timeless design of these stones creates an enchanting atmosphere that will always remain in style, making them the perfect focal point.

Cassandra Walker – Designer Collaboration Series

Located in the enchanting suburb of Malvern, this exquisite home is a hidden gem that has been methodically crafted to create a stunning and sophisticated family abode. Leading the design process was Cassie Walker, the talented designer from Cassandra Walker Design, who played a crucial role in the planning and creation of this extraordinary residence. The focal point of this home is the magnificent Bianco Carrara Marble, which adorns the kitchen benchtop, splashback, butler’s pantry benchtop, living room fireplace, formal living space fireplace, and study fireplace. This timeless natural stone effortlessly flows throughout the interior, adding an element of elegance and opulence to this remarkable home.

B.E Architecture – Designer Collaboration Series

Nestled along the picturesque Sydney Harbour lies this luxurious and unparalleled residence, a masterpiece that has been meticulously crafted over the course of several years. Tim Carrington of B.E Architecture, a highly regarded architect, has played a pivotal role in creating this magnificent six-level beachfront home. The exquisite Arabescato Vagli Marble plays a pivotal role in this remarkable home, effortlessly weaving its way through the kitchen, ensuite, fireplace, and BBQ areas, creating a seamless and harmonious interior. With its pristine white backdrop and delicate grey veining, this stone imbues an added touch of grace and refinement to an already stunning environment.

Lysandra’s Forever Home – Designer Collaboration Series

Nestled in the charming suburb of Somerton Park, South Australia, you’ll find the exquisite family homes of Alisa and Lysandra Fraser. These talented sisters have meticulously built their dream homes from the ground up, each showcasing their own unique sense of style. Alisa’s home boasts the stunning elegance of Turco Argento Limestone, while Lysandra’s abode combines the beauty of Turco Argento Limestone with the timeless allure of New Savior Limestone. These Natural Stones effortlessly enhance the beauty of every space, perfectly reflecting the discerning interior design styles that Alisa and Lysandra embody.

Claire Kneebone and Press* Food & Wine – Designer Collaboration Series

Situated in the heart of Adelaide is Press* Food & Wine, a food and wine institution that has been around for many years. Decorated by Claire Kneebone of Claire Kneebone Studios, Claire has helped in creating an element of surprise for the people of Adelaide with this light and vibrant space that offers an intimate dining experience. Featured alongst the bar and on a larger dining table is Cello Marble, creating a consistent space in which the Cello is truly the focal point of the dining room interior. With deep veining and a brown hue that incorporates grey undertones, this stone helps in bringing a rich sense of history to the restaurant that ultimately reflects their long history in Adelaide.

Olivia Cirocco from GIA Renovations – Designer Collaboration Series

Found in the homely suburb of Malvern in Melbourne, where a mix of both opulent period, and modern homes line every street, is this one-of-a-kind home that combines the best of both. Crafted by Design Manager Olivia Cirocco from GIA Renovations, Olivia has helped in creating a home that is sympathetic to the area, whilst retaining the qualities of a family home. Featured in this space are Super White Dolomite in the kitchen and Verde Oceania Marble in the main ensuite. Whilst quite different, these two stones work in harmony with each other, but also with the fixtures and fittings, to create rooms that are sophisticated and elegant.
